Credit Analyst - Healthcare Receivables Factoring
Klaim Inc is a specialized fintech for healthcare providing factoring solutions tailored to the healthcare industry. We help healthcare providers manage cash flow and mitigate credit risk by providing working capital solutions secured against their medical claims pending insurance payments. We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in assessing credit risk and supporting our healthcare clients during the onboarding process.

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the creditworthiness of healthcare providers, conducting UCC-1 filings, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit risk analysis, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial statements. Experience in healthcare factoring is a plus but not a requirement. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive credit analysis of healthcare providers by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and other relevant documents to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
  • Conduct searches and filings of UCC-1 financing statements to secure interests in collateral and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with recommendations for credit limits, terms, and conditions.
  • Communicate and liaise with healthcare providers, understanding their financial position, business operations, and credit needs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support the client onboarding process by providing timely credit assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage ongoing credit exposure and payment performance of clients, identifying potential risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting the healthcare and factoring sectors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit evaluations, UCC filings, and other related documentation in the company's systems.
  • Provide support to management in developing and refining credit policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within factoring, commercial lending, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of UCC-1 filings and other secured transactions is essential.
  • Prior experience in healthcare factoring or familiarity with healthcare receivables is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit analysis software/tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
