The Senior Legal Counsel serves within the Legal Department to provide advanced legal support to all departments within TBS and its affiliated entities and advises on legal and business issues that arise as we scale and grow. Role and Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for litigation matters.
Coordinate and manage outside counsel relationships and billing to represent the interests of the organization.
Coordinate legal research and possesses a high degree of analytical ability.
Provide training to leadership, employees, and other stakeholders to reduce organizational risk.
Provide advanced legal advice to all levels of management and ownership to inform them of the legality of contemplated actions and advise on appropriate action to achieve the mission and vision.
Maintain confidentiality of information of a highly sensitive nature concerning business, client, and employment matters.

Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, and Educational Requirements:
5+ years of experience in the financial sector and/or transportation sector or can demonstrate comparable knowledge through a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
Active Bar membership in current state of residence, in good standing, and ability to obtain Oklahoma bar membership within 6 months of commencement of employment.
Strong academic credentials and analytical and problem-solving skills.
Combination of litigation and transactional/in-house experience is preferred.
Strong background in commercial contracts.
Normal office environment with some opportunity to work remotely as approved by HR/Executive Team.
