A growing financial institution located in New York, is currently seeking an Underwriter to join its growing team. The company has a very stable environment and is well funded. The ideal candidate should be eager to work directly with the Sales Team to close deals in a timely manner, before handing them off to the Account Management Team.

Requirements Duties:
  • Analyze customer financials to determine credit worthiness
  • Customize structure of front and backend of loans appropriately according to customer needs and company guidelines
  • Prepare and present write-ups to Senior Management
  • Remain current on industry issues, trends, and analytical techniques
 Candidate Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years prior underwriting experience
  • Previous Factoring of Asset Based Lending experience preferred
  • Must be able to identify, respond to and resolve internal needs
  • Eager to close deals and work jointly with the Sales Team
